Troy is 3! and...

We have been busy lately! Troy has been battling a cough and runny nose, then he came down with a double ear infection the day before his birthday:( We had a good laugh while at the clinic; the dr. asked him what was hurting and Troy said (with hands in the air and weary voice), "It's all gone!" The dr. put him on an antibiotic and said he was fine to still have his much anticipated birthday party, he was glad to hear that, and so were we! He still insists that he's better whenever we pull out his medicine, and we usually get puked on cause he really hates it (yes, he has a super weak stomach...must be from the Johnson side)! My three-year-old ordered pancakes for his birthday breakfast, (my boys love their pancakes!) Luckily he was feeling much better for his birthday and party!

Friday evening Troy had a few cousins over for lasagna and a few early presents...

Celebrating with the handsome big boy!

Troy's birthday 'cup'cake...my first cupcake cake I've made. We were hoping for a Diego theme, but our lovely Walmart didn't have any Diego toys and Troy's diego toy was packed, so Jeremy went to a different Walmart before the party and found "Cars". With a little last minute planning, we had Radiator Springs.

Making his big wish! He loves the Happy Birthday Song, especially when he gets to blow out a real candle instead of a pretend candle!

Taking a whhhaaccckk at the pinata he picked out. We cycled through 5 kids a few times. This was one tough Sponge Bob! Sydney finally broke through the industrial strength cardboard, I was about ready to take a turn!

Modeling his new bike and helmet

and...We sold our home! We had it on the market for a few months, got an offer, and we're out! We're very lucky since the market isn't favorable towards sellers right now! My parent's are so awesome for letting us live with them until we have to leave for our first duty station. We're still waiting to find out where (and when) but with Jeremy graduating in a month the timing was perfect! We bought the duplex 3 1/2 years ago and it was a little sad to leave our first home, mostly since it was both our boys' first home and they've already done so much growing up there. We've made some really great (and really not-so-great) friends who rented our basement, enjoyed our neighbors and ward, and we're looking forward to our next chapter in life (sniff, sniff)!

Happy Birthday Troy! Looks like the party was fun. Too bad about the ear infection, but he didn't look like he was sick at his party. Congratulations on selling your house. That's one less thing to worry about.

Happy Birthday Troy! Wow, it didn't take you long to sell your house. Now where will I hang out while Brianna parties in Poky? Hopefully you'll get stationed in Hawaii and we can hang out there. Give the boys a big love from us. Hope to see you soon. The Christmas party will be the 20th at my house. XOXO Renae

Congrats selling, although I am sure it is a little bittersweet! Happy birthday to Troy too. Wow - 3 years old?! He'll be the cutest little sunbeam!
