Burfoot Park

We have found another favorite park to spend our sunny and warm days. When the tide is low we're all over the place playing around and finding aLL sOrTs of sea life…

star fish

crabs (this dead guy was about one foot wide)

sand dollars

clam shells

and a dollar… boo yawhh

ghaaa! Troy is our crab finder. He gets a little careless with the smaller crabs and when they pinch him he softly says, "ouch" then picks them up again!

The cutest little crack on the beach!

Using his clam shell as a scooper

We can NOT keep clean. It's just about warm enough for swim suits then they can get as dirty as they want; on purpose!

I guess he didn't get dirty enough from his first fall! Good thing he does push ups with Jer cause he held himself up until I got over to help him.

Another (normal) star fish

Showing off the big guy

Angeeeel wiiiiiings :)

See what Troy's doing? The turd is wiping his dirty hand off on Brock's back!

Defeating the purpose of the rain boots…

Troy went flying down the trail. Love the pic but it blurred.

My brother, Tyler, and his wife Laurie came up to visit and one of the days they were here we took them to the Burfoot!
The trail to the shore isn't long but it is gorgeous and perfect distance for our boys' little legs!

We went while the tide was coming in so we didn't find many creatures but still enjoyed the area.

(mini story: see the shore length and # of people NOT there? Three girls walked by but stopped and seriously stood right over us; I swear I could feel them breathing down my neck. Gave me the heebie jeebies.)

Troy and Brock loved being able to spend time with Ty and Laurie

a couple pics of the couple

"'Cause I've…had… the time of my liiife, and I owe it all to yooouuuu…"

Recreating here :)
on the way up
We're so glad you two came to visit! You still have a "home" in Washington Laurie :)

Fun! Morgan and Lucas would LOVE that beach! So much to explore and find. If we ever get the chance t visit, we will have to go there. Looks like you all had lots of fun getting to visit family in Idaho. Love your shoes in the Mother's Day pics.
