Either summer is too short or we're just too busy loving every minute of it because it didn't last nearly long enough for this summer lovin family!
We have to split up for our bike rides. Troy is our little speedster (his helmet, gloves, knee, and elbow pads have saved him a few times already! His big wrecks usually happen when he's in the middle of "showing off" to other girls his age *oh my dear!*
Brock, Cael and I go out for a nice ride around the neighborhood and usually end up at the park.
I don't encourage my babies to suck on their fingers but it is SO cute! Cael is one determined baby, neither Troy or Brock had any interest in sucking their thumbs. I peeked at Cael while we were catching up to Brock on our walk/bike ride and had to stop and take his picture before removing his pudgy little fingers from his mouth.

The boys have enjoyed using walkie-talkies to see where the other one is. This night they met up by the beef field
Troy and Jer stopped along their trail one evening and had to fill Jer's helmet with Blackberries (as seen in Troy's mouth) There are bushes all over!
This summer Jer added a few more letters to his name's "title". He passed his certification for the Medical Surgical Nursing Test and will now answer to:
1LT Jeremy Johnson, CMSRN, RN
...or you can just call him Jer.
I finally caught Cael pouting on camera. He can make a serious pouty face with his little lippers, so cute!
The big kids grew another mini tomato garden this summer.
They've been picking handfuls of tomatoes daily and are enjoying their gardening reward
We decided we should have named Troy, "Tom". Then, we could have had three vegetables as children; Tomato, Broccoli, and Kale. hardy har har
The boys collected their tomatoes and made some signs. Brock's sign means, "Tomatoes for $1" and Troy was charging "10" until he added another "0". I was given one for free and ate it up just because these two were so sweet (I'm not a tomato fan!)
Troy is always taking picture and video with our point and shoot camera. He just happened to be recording and caught Cael's first giggle. It takes a little concentration to hear Cael since he has to compete with his brothers to be heard ;)

Last but not least, we celebrated another birthday for Jeremy. I almost had to twist his arm over his blasted birthday cake! He didn't want one so I told him he had to decide on one for the boys at least (and myself!) He was glad he did; it topped off our delicious lunch at Red Lobster.
We're loving our summer and are hoping for more of it; or a least a long lasting fall *fingers crossed*

Nice hair Lace! So, "Broccoli" and "Kale" were obvious; I laughed out loud when you suggested Tom(ato) for Troy (Mater may be a new nick-name)! Cael has sure grown-it hardly seems fair how fast they grow, huh?
