Half a Mile and Pumpkin Patchin

Troy's school hosted a fun run so Troy was able to run his first race (half mile). He was very excited and prepared well by going out for a few runs with Jeremy to train and practice keeping a pace. His goal was to keep up with the fastest kid in his class. Troy was SO excited afterwards because he ended up passing his fastest friend and even though there were some first graders who came in before him, in Troy's mind he "won the race" since he beat everyone from his kindergarten class.

Brock got to go on his first preschool field trip; the class hit up a local pumpkin patch. Here's a few I snapped with my phone:
Taking the wagon ride to the patch
This photo taken by a preschool friend's mom. Brock didn't want to choose the biggest pumpkin from the patch, but rather the "perfect pumpkin"
The goats reminded us of G'pa and G'ma Moser's house, made us miss Princess and Maddie!

As Brock was slipping on his cowboy boots today, he mentioned to me that he is a farmer since he helps take care of Grandpa's cows and feeds the other animals. This boy loves his animals!
