For his school's 100 day celebration his grade celebrated by dressing like a 100-year-old. Troy was SO excited and again, lost a little sleep over it. He headed to school with a big smile on his face. His teacher awarded him the best dressed old person, but he refused her request for a picture since a few kids who showed up not in costume poked fun of him; he quickly became self conscious about his outfit. That ruined his day. So, we've been trying to encourage him to continue to have fun and brush off rude comments. Easier said than done. Troy did give me permission to add these pictures, though he originally wanted me to delete them all. He's feeling a little better about it now, especially since he won the dress up competition ;)
His new glasses added just the right touch.
Just thinking about sending my sweet little Brock to ALL day kindergarten this fall makes me sad. Cael and I are going to miss our buddy.
Brock's imagination has no limits and he's always looking for ways to make everyone laugh.
Cael was feverish and was waking up what felt like every hour of the night for three nights straight last week, I came down with a head cold/headache, and Brock came down with a really fast and bad double ear infection. THEN we had a decent, heavy snow over the weekend so we bundled up the boys and let them play in this rare, once a year event for a few minutes.
These two watched from this spot the whole time Jer and Troy built their big snowman. Brock said he was happy to watch and be warm at the same time.
This was Cael's first booster seat meal. I'm ready to put the high chair away but at the same time, I'm not ready.
And last but not least:
I warned you about getting flashed. This was how 'attempt one' of getting a picture for Valentine cards went. We have a flasher.
