Idaho #1: July 4

We started off our Independence Day celebration in IDAHO by hitting up a parade with the Johnsons. We roasted and we toasted and it felt like the parade would never end! The entertainment was memorable though; it's not everyday we get to see Grandma J act completely crazy as she tried to scare off an adult that stood right in front of us during the parade :) But seriously, it took me, Lori, and Jer each talking to her to get her to scooch.

We cooled off afterwords with the first of nine water-related activities (I should have packed more swimming suits for my water babies).  Once again the entertainment was memorable; I'll save your eyes and won't share the pics of my bro who squeezed into his itty bitty speedo from 10+ years ago:)

The big boys decided after the first day of the backyard slip-n-slide that they needed a bigger slide. So, the next day, they utilized Dad's truck:

It's been a few years since we've been able to light off our own fireworks. We blew up a few before the show started
