We had a fun time with G'pa and G'ma this past weekend! We were busy almost every minute and enjoyed the beautiful weather and scenery here in Washington! I took a million pics and had a hard time picking a "few" to share on my blog :)
The state capitol, Olympia, is close to where we live so we took them to this gorgeous area. Troy had fun "daring" the spray sprouts at this splash park. Thankfully he won each dare and didn't get sprayed in the face!
The boys and G'pa checking out the view with the capitol building in the background
A quick pic with the Grands!
Brock looks a little too relaxed here and Troy didn't want to take off his hood!We spent lots of time watching the sailboats and yachts. I think G'pa had more fun than my two little ones! They even got to see a harbor seal under this dock!
We found a yummy place to eat and Grandpa thought it would be fun to top off our meal with a Mt. Rainer ice cream plate since he saw how much my boys love ice cream!
There's a pumpkin farm just down the road from our place so we spent a few hours there. Brock was so funny on this tractor ride; when they drove away I wondered if he would get worried and want off. Just as I thought he was trying to get off, he was just turning around to wave good-bye to us!
We took a wagon ride around the property and Troy was showing G'ma the horses he was planning on riding
Grandpa had to buy a big apple (this picture doesn't give it justice) and it was tasty!Troy and his much anticipated horse ride! They got to ride forever!
Both boys loved it; Jer got dizzy going around and around and around...
We took on the corn maze challenge (they had it set up so if you could find all of the information and fill out answers on a paper, we could win a free Christmas Tree) Luckily I married a G.I. Joe and we knocked out this maze in no time; well, maybe not for Brock!
Catching a ride through the maze.Sending the ducks down the water pipe.
Building a pumpkin man?!?
We also went to Ocean Shores and on the way…
Twilight anyone?!? It's been so sunny lately I haven't had a chance to see any vampires ;)
The sand at Ocean Shores was SO SOFT and not even too cold! Let's just say we were sandy. Really. Sandy. Really.

I knew I'd love these silhouette pics but the turned out even better than I imagined!

My boys
Lori took about five of these pics for me and the sun was so bright my eyes were closed in every one! But you get the idea ;)
Ha ha! That would be LORI on the left. I think she was shooting for the "sand-monster" look :)We also spent some time at Pike's Place Market. We left with a few pounds of chocolate, flowers, sweets, pastries, and fruit. And smiles.
Troy makes friends with anyone and everyone. This guy in the picture gave him this little basket of grapes. It made his day!
Before G'pa and G'ma had to leave we had birthday party #1 for Brock's 2nd birthday. I pulled out the camera and Troy said he wanted to give Brock a hug...
Waiting for the birthday song to end so he could rip into his present! They are both excited for a spiderman "undella" as Brock calls it!
My little Mary Poppins, only much, much cuter!
Blowing out the big number 2!
He did it!
We were so glad to have the Johnson's visit us and were sad to see them go :( With a lost jacket, a few lost $$, and the dumb now-dead deer that decided to run in front of them on their drive back to Idaho, it was priceless to have G'pa and G'ma visit! Come back anytime!

It's so fun to get caught up! Your little family looks like you have settled in well. You'll probably see the Gmas and Gpas a whole bunch because they can't stand being away from those cute boys! We're hoping to make it over sometime, if Bri makes it into honor band you'll need to make room for us to stay. Love and miss you all! Renae
