New Home (post 3 of 4)

So the full DITY move I mentioned earlier?!? We both agreed after hauling everything upstairs to move in that we will gladly let the military move us next time! I haven't been that exhausted since our last marathon! The boys were content playing with their toys that they haven't seen for almost a year since we boxed up almost everything and put it in storage.

We all love our new place; a beautiful neighborhood with walking distance to the library and park, they have a clubhouse with a gym and jacuzzi and an outdoor pool. It's just off base and is a quick drive for Jer to get to work. Troy has been so excited that we have close neighbors who are in our ward with a little guy just older than he. Troy played at their house all afternoon yesterday and told the Mom he plans on living with them. She told him that I would miss him and his reply was that I have Brockers and that he was planning on at least going over in the morning for cheesy eggs as soon as he woke. Yay for awesome neighbors with a little friend for Troy and Brock!

Our tree frog friend. Troy loves him. Brock kindof likes him. sometimes.
We spoiled ourselves and bought our first bedroom set along with a new king sized cloud luxe tempurpedic mattress and pillows. Absolutely heavenly!

It really looks better in person. If anyone would like to see it in person just come on by :)
I sewed up my pillows and had them all ready for our new bed, I couldn't wait for our new bedroom!
Drawer space. Drawer space...
Jer welded this rose for me! Also, the lamp and vase are just awesome cause I bought both at the DI for $10 total. I just spray painted the vase and the lamp base and they're good as new, and cheap!
This dude was also a cheap DI find. It was gold. With just a touch of spray paint, it's fabulous!

Here's the beast. $5 from the DI. Yuck. It's a 20x24 and I had just the right change in mind for it…
Much better! I sprayed it and sanded it down for just a little distressing.
