Heroes and Villains = One Happy Halloween

We've had fun with our Halloween themes the past few years and since the superhero stage is becoming popular with the boys we went with the Batman crew for 2010. Our church's Halloween carnival was on Friday so I hustled all week making these costumes and getting Brock's birthday "ready" (I just posted his party so keep scrolling down!)

The boys' outfits took a little more time since I don't use patterns, Jer's vest and coat were quick (plus he wore his church pants and tie:), my turtleneck just needed modified since the smallest size I could find was a size 16w from Walmart and then I added my hood to it :) They took time but hardly cost anything and the boys had fun attacking their "villains".

My crew trying out the Graveyard bowling

Fishing for goodies

Catching ducks

Krispy Cremes!!!

Yumm-o! (my flash's battery died just before this pic so it looks much better in b & w than it did in color)

Captain America!

aka Jacob

aka both boys' new friend :)

Taking a break for some snacks

Brock dug into his candy on the drive home. We're kinda guessing he found something chocolaty ;)

Batman the vampire

Robin trying his pair out

Their candy and that dang spook house (ridiculously hard to put together!)

We hope all of YOU had a spooky fun Halloween this year!

We.did.
