Leaves, Steilacoom, and Z's

I took the boys to the park the other day so they could play and I could practice shooting in manual with my camera. We've been able to enjoy the colors of fall ever since we've moved here (since the end of Sept) and now with the end of Nov coming up quickly the trees are just now starting to look bare.
Brock flying through the leaves
Happy Troy heading down the slide
Troy and a little friend. Troy will be friends with anyone and EVERYONE. We're still working on helping him understand that some kids are shy and don't always want to play. Luckily most kids warm up and decide to play after Troy practically begging ;)
We went to a historical shop in Steilacoom to take outdoor pictures of some friends of Cassia Denton (my awesome photographer friend) and two of the town's history buffs came by and unlocked the shop and gave us our own tour. My boys got to do some hands on wood work...
 Working away

These men were really friendly and would call Troy on the other phone (this one is just a grade newer than the phone Alexander Graham Bell invented). Here's Troy having an old-school conversation :)
"Giddy-Yup Pony!"
Just more practice shots in Manual mode with no flash. I'm REALLY loving my camera now that I'm getting the hang of it!
As still as Brock gets!

And because I think this is funny: Troy was taking a bath the other day and I got "in trouble" because the water was too hot and would burn his eyeballs. (He holds his breath underwater and hunts for toys). I didn't know it was that easy to burn your eyeballs.

Looks like lots of fun. I'm guessing you're not missing the snow. BTW, your Halloween costumes are awesome. Sorry to say that Brianna didn't make all state, so we don't have an excuse to come that way any time soon (except for you of course!). Mark March 26th on your calendar for Jr. Miss and come home to cheer her on. Miss you guys!

Cute picture of a sleeping Brock. Morgan is on my lap and a little jealous of the boys getting to play in the leaves. We didn't get to do any of that this year because of a huge wind storm that took all the leaves away and then it snowed.
