While my mom was visiting I had her teach me how to read a simple crocheted hat pattern and I got a little adventurous and figured out how to transform a bear hat pattern to an owl hat for my two favorite hoots. They asked to wear these today since the sun wasn't shining. It was a no-go since it's still warm but with fall just around the corner, we're ready for those chilly days.

Those are so stinkin' cute! We sure miss you guys. I was hoping Richard would have to stay in Seattle for a while when he came home so I could come up and visit.
