Though you just can't beat the Eastern Idaho State Fair, we all had a great time at the WW State Fair again this year. I had a little luck with timing for once and ran across THIS adorable cowboy hat crochet pattern on Pinterest so Cowboy Cael had the perfect occasion for wearing it. While at the fair we made sure to hit up the main attractions; food, animals, carnival rides, more food, more animals, more rides...

Troy on his first "big-kid" ride. He got a little worried when it picked up speed (surprised me!) and had this face for the first two rounds but his face changed to a huge smile after that.
It reminded me of when Ann and I went on my first "scary" ride and I cried the entire time. Each round we made, Ann would yell at the carni, "Stop the ride!"... "My sister's scared!"

Since my family would show our holstein cattle at the Puyallup fair when I was younger, I made sure we made it to the cattle barns to fire up the old memories
Cael had the right idea here. Jer, Cael and I wore ourselves out. I'm starting to wonder if it's possible to wear out our big boys!
