Great Wolf Lodge

The second to last item on my "Washington Bucket List" has been checked off. We have wanted to spend a few days at the Great Wolf Lodge since we first moved here seeing how it's only a short drive away. Thanks to a diligent friend who made the effort to find out about a Military Marriage Retreat (a paid for mini vacation with a few marriage classes), I made sure Jer signed us up for it so we could take advantage of this awesome opportunity. Three days at the Great Wolf Lodge including meals and a few hours of child care so the adults could take advantage of the big kid rides, perfect! We all had a BLAST and were missing it as soon as we drove off the parking lot (with the exception of the childcare; Cael was the only one that didn't mind it.)
I asked Troy what his favorite part of the water park was. He said he loved the wave pool. He amazes me with his comfort in the water and owned those waves. He and Jer also spent a lot of time going down the tube slides. There was only one he wasn't tall enough for and as frightening thrilling as it was, I know Troy would have done it in a heartbeat!

Brock's version of "feet first". He also loved the wave pool, particularly "punching the waves". He kept us on our toes since he loves the water and with so many people there, we were always chasing this little red head.
Left - Jer and Troy    Right - Troy and his screaming mother.
I still wonder where my children are hiding their gills. Left-Troy Right-Brock
A jet ski full of BOYS! And yes, Troy shot me right after I took the second picture, water proof camera :)
My water babies
Before we left we were sitting by the fire and our wolf, Brock, howled at everyone passing by.

10 thumbs up from this Johnson Family
