The Red, White, and Brownish-Blonde

I've been in spring cleaning mode lately. My house is slowly becoming more "simplified" by my weeding out lots of our unused items. Also, in the past six months my computer has become overrun with folders of pictures that have needed backed up. It feels good to be a little more organized, both with my home and computer, and I've found a few random updates to add of our little red, white, and blue brownish-blonde gents.
Cael is able to stand for short periods of time. He also has a new favorite toy; an empty vitamin container.
From two months ago, pre-glasses.
The boys ALL love snuggling with their Dad. I don't blame them.
Just waking up.
Brock's preschool field trip last month; planting potatoes at an organic farm
He worked really hard while we were there and looks forward to returning this summer to see how his potatoes have grown.
Enjoying the preschool's annual Spring Fair. A snake and Mario.
We were teased with gorgeous weather. Hoping it will return so we can enjoy our outdoor runs some more!
Troy asked if he could go to a local skate park. We took him after his half day kindergarten, before all the big kids overran the place. He made our jaws drop when he went on the three bunny hills, up the half pipe, then instead of coming back the same way as he had been doing he shot across and went up the big half pipe seen behind him in this picture and landed it. He had all the older kids asking how old he was and if he'd been there before.
Unfortunately he had a collision. Troy was going down the last bunny hill ready to head up the half pipe the same time a skate boarder came down the half pipe and they collided. The older kid felt really bad and was almost being shunned by everyone there. I was holding Cael while recording and as Cael grabbed my arm I barely caught his wreck. Troy smashed in the top of his helmet and "hurt his brain!!!!" along with a few other battle injuries. The older kid landed on Troy's front tire and bend it up (and smacked his head pretty hard too). Jer found a bike repair shop to fix the bent up bike and bought Troy a new helmet. Troy can't wait to go back (though we'll be sure to go during the least busy times!)
my "big" boys

new posts below; and that's a wrap
