We celebrated Jeremy's birthday #34 in i.d.a.h.o.
| I think the boys added every candle Grandma had in her house on the cake. The cake was on fire, literally, as the wooden number lit up in flames. |
| I love this picture of my little guys swinging on the horse swing. The boys spent lots and lots of time outside |
| Cael loved riding the 4-wheelers with either Troy, Brock, or me. He couldn't get enough of it! |
| Jer requested that we go to the Bar J Wranglers, we had to do a few poser shots with the big bear. |
Cael stayed with G'ma and G'pa Johnson and loved getting 100% of their attention. We had a good laugh that night while picking him up; Travis didn't know Cael was there and locked the front door. When we tried to pick him up, Jeremy found an open window and was yelling for Lori to wake up. Yelling wasn't working so Jer threw a few sprinklers in through and open window trying to "knock" on her bedroom door. SOUND SLEEPERS! Bryan was downstairs and heard some noises so he came upstairs and let us in.
| The boys loved the show; we all enjoyed a good dose of laughter that night. Afterwards, Troy couldn't wait to shake their hands. He said hello to their fiddler, Tim, who surprisingly remembers giving me fiddle lessons. When Troy was saying hi to Bryan, Troy gave him a big toothless smile and thought it was hilarious when Bryan said he should borrow his fake teeth and they'd look good on him. |
| We spent some time at Rigby lake |
| The kids got a few rides on the four wheeler and motor cycles |
| We went to float the river in Island Park but since the weather didn't want to cooperate we had fun spending an afternoon in West Yellowstone. The candy store was our first stop of course, taffy, fudge, and everything in-between. |
| We snuck in a quick trip to watch Old Faithful in Yellowstone and walked around a few of the stink pots. I think the highlight for the boys was seeing a man bent over showing off his large plumbers crack. |
| The Eastern Idaho State Fair! The boys spent hours on the carnival rides. We got our fill on the delicious and over-priced fair food, and visited as many animals as we could find. |
| The rain caught up with us again on our way out. Cael didn't mind. |
| Troy took Cael outside for a four wheeler ride and when I went out to check on them I found them in one of the hammocks. |
| We all prefer being around fields and big, open skies. It was refreshing seeing the horizons again and a full rainbow. This rainbow was so big I had to patch a few pictures together. |
| Cruddy phone pic but I loved this one of Shad and Cael playing together. |
| It was so nice being there for Eliana's baptism! My boys really think a lot of her. Troy informed us on our drive home that for his baptism he is going to make us take him to Idaho for it. I'm game. |
| On our drive home we stopped south of Portland at Multnomah Falls. Just a short walk off the Interstate, great stop for stretching out our legs! |
