We had a fun birthday celebration for our little guy. I really wanted to plan a little party and have friends over, but the boys have had birthday invitations for almost every weekend of May and now into June. Plus Jer had to work. boo. So, this was the first time in seven years one of my kids hasn't had a party. I kept telling myself that "Cael doesn't mind, but parties are fun, but it will be more relaxed without one, but we NEED a party, but we don't have to have a party..." And guess what. It was fun even without a party :)
Cael likes the idea of sweet treats, but he isn't really into sweets... yet. So, the boys helped Cael choose to have brownie pops for his birthday treat. Cael loved them! He had fun ripping into his gifts while his brothers anxiously watched, playing with his new water table, and getting a couple birthday calls and texts. Cael LOVES to Skype!!!
I thought Jer was off for the next day's night shift so we planned on another treat. Well, Jer had to work, again, so the four of us enjoyed another yummy treat; fruit and candy waffle cones. Cael loves his fruit so this was another yummy treat in his book.
