While in Idaho

I love this image of Cael. His favorite color is orange so he loved wearing this hat. He would often gather this hat, cowboy boots,  and gloves then he would find Grandma, asking if they could go outside and do chores. He was obviously dressed to go out when I found him patiently waiting on the chair.

The boys love to help out in the kitchen and were tickled when Grandpa asked them if they'd help him bake his fruitcake.

I'm so happy the boys were able to play in the snow! We're short on snow gear and I wasn't going to buy clothing to only be worn for a few weeks...so we layered and borrowed a little (Brock looks pretty cute in pink)

When it's cold out, two hats are better than one

My birthday was the day before we left. Grandma and the kids decorated the house while Jer and I were on a movie date. When we came home I was welcomed at the door with three big smiles as they all yelled, "surprise!" Brock loved the birthday bling and was in charge of passing out the party necklaces. He took his job seriously.

And Cael was a fan of the icecream cake.
