Part way through my parents visit we went down to Corpus Christi. Such a fun getaway! We went to the ocean the first day then stayed overnight and a crazy storm passed through. The power went out early morning in our hotel and never turned back on. We drove up Padre Island and power lines were snapped left and right. Um. Yikes!

This terrified Troy: He was holding Cael, not very far out, and a wave knocked them over. You can see four feet straight up in the air in this first picture below. Troy came up so fast, eyes open, reaching around for Cael. It took them both a few seconds to get back on their feet but you can see the relief on Troy's face! Really it looks worse than it was because it happened so fast and I remember being glad Cael's glasses strap held up and he didn't loose his specs!

Our second day we hit up the huge Texas State Aquarium. This aquarium has shows like you would see at Sea World along will all of the fun aquarium life.
