Cael had to wait since January third for his birthday to be next in our family. It was a long wait for such an excited little boy. This kid is so easy to please. His request was a wrecking ball and crane to add to his awesome collection of trucks.
We went to birthday lunch at the amazing Black's BBQ with our favorite Smith family. The 45 minute drive took two hours and the line to get in the door was another hour. Black's was worth it.
But, because of the additional three hours, the bakery that made Cael's cake was closed by the time we got home:( We still had fun swimming with our favorite Smith family then had a yummy dessert at their place since we were cake-less.
We picked up Cael's construction cake the next day; there's nothing wrong with celebrating your birthday three separate days, right?!
I hope this wish came true.
