Adding in our Little One

The past couple weeks have flown by and I need to edit Cael's newborn pictures...but it's more fun to hold this little sweetie all day long instead!

Here's some snapshots of randomness lately; starting with our little spitter/bubble blower.

My mom flew back home the day before yesterday - it was AWESOME having her here! She was one busy lady and kept us all well fed, the house cleaned, laundry washed, the boys entertained and spoiled, was our personal chauffeur when I couldn't drive, and she made sure to relax with Cael. We can't tell her enough how much we appreciate all of her help while I was on the mend! She wasn't gone for an hour before Troy said he already missed her :(

Have you heard of Stryder bikes? Jeremy surprised Brock with one; It was a secret that Brock didn't know about and I honestly couldn't tell who was more excited for it to be delivered... Troy or Jeremy! There are no pedals; the purpose is to teach balance so there isn't a need for training wheels (plus Brock does pretty good at riding his trike)

Our little backyard has a slight hill by the fence so the boys took turns on Brock's bike.

Then had to do a few races with the dump truck

This was our only "wreck", or should I say, "dump".

I'm glad I can take pictures and record our precious newborn but it would be awesome if someone could figure out how to save their newborn smell and touch of baby soft skin. 

Troy and Brock have been patiently waiting for Cael's umbilical cord to fall off so they could help with his first real bath

But Cael rather would have been sleeping.

We got to celebrate my Mom's birthday with her this year. While staying with us, she got to see every side of these guys' personalities (making for some pretty good laughs about the intentional messes made and "did he really just do/say that?" behavior)  but you can see how they obviously adore their Grandma!

We LOVE our little cuddle bug! Cael is such a good baby; the poor little guy already had an eye infection  which made for a ridiculous day spent at the doctor's office and ER but thankfully it's cleared up now. He    burps, spits up, burps, spits up, burps, and spits up a little more than we'd prefer but he gained a pound at his two week check up so we know he's keeping some food down!
