The month of October is always fun and full of decorations, pumpkin patches, halloween/birthday parties, pumpkin carvings, trick-or-treating, and any and everything between. We all had so much fun having G'pa and G'ma here to celebrate these fall festivities with us! Our week with them went by too fast!
| We went to a local apple cider farm and visited animals (the same animals that we could find back at G'pa and G'ma's house!) but it was nice having a day with really nice weather. |

Jer and I spent an evening in Seattle while the boys had some awesome babysitters take care of them. We haven't been on a date since before Cael was born; our dates usually include three little boys in tow and we're just fine with that ;) We had a fantastic evening eating at the Cheesecake Factory for my first time, then seeing the Broadway show, "Wicked". We . LOVED . it |
| Unfortunately the boys' blue shirts didn't make it in time for Brock's BDay party but these Officers looked pretty good in their uniforms, plus the shirts will be well used for Sundays. Troy debated being a cop or vampire and Brock was set on being a pirate. Brock's plans changed once he saw Troy's awesome hat and handcuffs |
| Grandpa took us to our church's "Trunk-or-Treat" then we went around our neighborhood for some more trick-or-treating. |
| Cael stayed home with Grandma but sported his good smelling skunk costume for Brock's party. He held up the tradition well and wore the same costume both big brothers have worn...homemade costumes deserve being worn by every kid! |
| The candy haul was ransacked by Chubba Bubba; Cael loved playing in the bowl of candy. |
Yes, these sweethearts have been sharing their candy (after "hiding" their favorites, of course!"
