A Day With Cael

I made Troy a first year baby scrapbook. It was fun but took a lot of time. I have a book for Brock, it's missing all of the cute embellishments but I have pictures printed and placed on the pages. The boys love when we bring out their baby books to look through; even with Brock's not being finished. Scrapbooking isn't on my to-do list right now but I'm making sure to take pictures and record milestones for Cael. Last month I took pictures of him throughout the day so we can look back and remember our (somewhat) typical day with our little Bombers.

If the babe could speak, more than likely, this is what he'd say:

I love sleeping in my crib. My favorite time to wake up is at 7:30, I'll holler and sometimes cry for my mom then give her the best good morning hugs and kisses. She loves it.

I usually play in Mom's and Dad's bed for a few minutes before my big brothers wake up for the day. When I get bored with my toys I'll pull Mom's hair for fun.

I love to eat breakfast. Cereal is yummy and fruit always tastes good, too. I'll either eat with both of my brothers, with Brock after we drop Troy off at school, or with mom after we drop off both boys.

My toys are so much fun to play with after breakfast time. I'll usually sit for quite a while and play. Mom either takes me out to the garage and I'll play in the exersaucer while she's on the treadmill, or she'll set up the computers and let me play inside and we watch each other while she runs.

I can usually wait until after picking up Troy and Brock from school until I take my first nap. The days that Dad is home I'll take my nap earlier since I won't have to be woken up to get in the carseat. Ever since I was a brand new baby I've loved to nuzzle my nose close to my mom's neck. I hug Mom and fall fast asleep. She loves my cuddles and hugs while she rocks me to sleep.

I wake up so happy from my morning nap. Sometimes I'll eat a little snack and at the same time play peek-a-boo through my highchair toy.

I am the luckiest little brother. My favorite part of the day is playing with Troy and Brock. I can't wait until I can run and keep up with them. Troy is always so helpful for Mom, he'll even change my diaper without being asked. I make sure to hold really still and hold my legs straight up for him! Brock and I like to tease each other. He always lets me smack him in the face or pull his nose. If he takes one of my toys before I'm done playing with it, all I have to do is holler or thump my thigh and he gives it right back to me.

After my second or sometimes third nap, I'm always hungry for dinner. Green beans, carrots, and squash have been my favorites so far. At times I'll get noisy and need to be held while dinner is being made, I like to remind everyone that I'm the boss. Mom says that my older brothers were the same way.

I splash and squeal during bathtime.  My parents always wash off all my kisses then fill my cheeks with more once I'm out of the bath, silly Mom and Dad.

After we put on our jammies, us boys let out our last bit of energy for the day. We say our prayers, everyone gives me hugs and kisses, and Mom takes me to bed. What a great day. Lots of eating, playing, and napping while being adored the whole time!
