US!

For Christmas Jer and I gifted the two big boys a session of Karate. It was a great way for them to release some energy with lots of punching, kicking, balancing, and yelling of, "US!" Our little red was a bit of a jokester and would have the class laughing when he would throw an arm block while yelling, "us!" before the Master was ready. The instructors were amazing with the kids and handled the group very well. By the time we entered the second half of their classes I was able to get through to Brock and he stopped being the class clown (complete opposite of my personality at that age in a public setting!) Troy was especially excited to kick a board during their last class. He remembers quite well when we took them to a trial class a year ago and they got to kick a board. Now that Karate has been over for a few weeks, we often hear the boys counting to ten in Korean, Brock still practices his punches with Jeremy, Troy has been working on perfecting his arm block, and both boys kick up a storm. We're relaxing for a few weeks, thankfully, and next on the list: Another session of swimming lessons.
