That's a Wrap. Or Unwrap?

December was busy! I love the Christmas season and I always feel like with everything keeping us so busy December comes and goes too fast.
Cael decided in December that he needed to take over the bottom bunk bed; Brock's bed. I keep telling him that babies sleep in cribs but he keeps "telling" me that babies grow up. At least it's easy to coax him out with a book. He is a book lover!

Brock's preschool put on a Christmas Program held at one of the local high school theaters. Brock sang his little heart out as a handsome, blue shepherd. Troy had a hard time with it at first since he's never been in a Christmas program through a school function (and he loves attention). He even threatened us saying that he was going to "march all the way down there and get up on that stage". He realized how silly he was sounding after we asked him what he would do when he got there. We ALL really enjoying the program and the boys are still laughing over the "alien angel".

Both boys had the opportunity through their schools to be a secret santa for children in a local charity. They both worked hard by doing extra help around the house to earn money so they could purchase the gifts themselves. This was the first year we've had them do something like this for Christmas and I think we'll try to make it a new tradition.

I would call our Christmas for the boys, "the year of the legos". In the past years, Jer and I have almost always woken up before the boys. Not this year. Right at 5:30 we heard the pitter patter of four little feet running down the hallway towards our bedroom. We sent Troy and Brock downstairs to check out their stockings, though Troy had already been downstairs to check out the presents Santa had left, and I told them to come at get me at 6.
Cael loves his new shopping cart and was zipping around all morning during the present opening frenzy. Santa gave him some chocolate in his stocking; little chocolate face.

I absolutely love my new dish set and new cAmeRa:) I can't forget to add in the early present that Jer gave me in November; I always have icy cold feet in the winter. Jer bought me (us) a heated mattress pad that is remote controlled so my side of the bed can be super hot and Jer's side can on low heat or just turned off. Love it.

And Jer- his tool stash grew a little and his butt looks pretty darn good in his new jeans ;)
