But first, our crafter. Brock really enjoys arts and crafts. He asked if he could make a halloween decoration for his teacher and this is what he came up with. He's awesome.
Also in October, Troy received a pile of belt badges in the scouting program. Gma Johnson was visiting and was able to go to the meeting with us. Troy's scout leader used Troy as an example of what an awesome little scout looks like: He said that Troy earned so many badges because he has some awesome parents that are so active and helpful. I'm so glad Jer had the night off and was able to be there because it has been ALL him. He has made scouts fun for Troy by helping him pass of so many badge requirements. Troy is a lucky boy.
These eyes melt my heart.
I captioned this one on Instagram as:
Cute baby, check.
Droll bib and binkie, check.
Spare outfit for church, mom fail.
The older brothers thought #momfail was the funniest thing ever.
It hadn't rained for a while so when we had our first rainstorm in October, these lovely trapdoor spiders crawled out from their little holes that were hidden all over in our yard and were hanging out around our sidewalk. Jer caught one that was on our backdoor step to show the boys. YUCK. YUCK. YUCK.

Then the next night Troy found this toad by our backdoor step. We kept him close. I think he was acting as a guard dog and ate a few spiders for us.
