Ice Cold Lemonade and Cookies

I talked myself into participating in our community yard sale. After three boys, we have piles of little boy clothing and it was a good opportunity to clear out a bit. The boys had been asking about doing a lemonade stand this summer so I told them that this would be a good day for them to have one since I'd be out there to help. Plus, there would be lots of people passing by.

Cael helped for a few minutes but quickly turned into their biggest, lowest paying customer :)

After selling all of their cookies and lemonade, these dudes made 42 bucks!

They had a toy in mind that they spotted out earlier this summer; Jer and I encourage them to leave their piggy bank money alone so we made a deal that if they did extra chores throughout the summer they could earn money for these remote control cars. After their lemonade stand, they had more than enough and swiped up the last two from the store's shelf.

This has been the summer of the icy pop for Cael. He loves his pops and is always asking for an "owange pop". The rest of us never eat the orange ones since Cael loves them so much, but they are always the first color to run out.

The greens and purples are pretty tasty to him, too.
