Brock scored two goals during the season and had a smile on his face all of the time. His coach was awesome and had the team passing the ball really well by the end of the season. It was cute (but got a little old) hearing all of the players on his team yell out pass! as soon as the ball was out of their possession.
Troy scored three goals during one of his games. The talent the kids have in his age group is crazy! He's at the age that the kids take the sport a lot more seriously; certain kids would get pretty frustrated with themselves at times and some would intentionally hurt their own teammates. He had a great coach but this was his (ok, maybe my) least favorite team.
I put off registering for swimming lessons but I got lucky and was able to get both boys in for a session of swimming lessons, which they're in the middle of right now. Then the end of this month it's soccer again. Troy will be in a new age group/soccer level so we're hoping it will be something he enjoys; he definitely has the drive!
Troy's awesome primary teachers from church and their kids came to cheer for him at one of his games. I could tell it meant a lot to Troy, he was so excited to have them there for him.
