Little Critter books never get old
It wasn't long ago that I was hauling my two lead butts in the double stroller while I ran. I thought that was a workout; now I can't keep up with these two! Their encouragement "run faster mom!" and their competitvness between each other as they're a football field in distance ahead of me keeps my legs and lungs working hard.
My favorite time of day is when the sun sets and we have gorgeous lighting and clouds. This is also my favorite time of day to go for a run.
We always stop to visit with the cows for Cael. My boys are cowboys at heart.
This kid can jump on that pogo stick. We had a little competition one night; Troy gave me a run for my money.
I had Cael wear some itty bitty shorts one day. These little legs are so cute, I couldn't miss out on this photo op.
"a pop. owaaange."
My little shadow in more ways than one.
Cael loves to get the mail. Troy and Brock are in charge of taking out the trash and recycle items each evening, Cael is in charge of carrying the key while we walk to the mailbox.

We had a little scavenger hunt to find the smallest and largest sand dollar at the beach one day. |
This ride at our county fair took me back to my childhood when Ann and I were probably these ages and I screamed and cried as we whipped around and around on a ride similar to this. With each circle we made, Ann would yell at the carni, "Let...Us....Off!... She's....Scared!!" Poor Brock did not like this ride, though he handled it better than I did at his age. He gave me a thumbs up after getting off.
Jer and I had our 11th anniversary in June. Two months and two days later we got around to celebrating by going to the Melting Pot. MmmMmmMmm!
And last but not least, Jer had another birthday! We've all enjoyed a few of his gifts by playing battleship and building his puzzle nonstop for a week now.
1 1/2 batches of cake and this thick, heavy cake lasted us cake lovers almost four days.
