Crew's FIRST birthday

(posted Jan 28, 2018)

The traditional pancake breakfast for the birthday dude.

Watching him bounce on his new bouncy horse was the cutest thing.

It felt like our time in Texas revolved around Crew. Arriving at 16 weeks pregnant I spent our first months anticipating his arrival. After adding this adorable 4th baby to our lives, his first year felt like it flew by so much faster than his big brother's first years. All of those much awaited firsts happened before I knew it. Before I knew it, he was babbling and smiling. Before I knew it, he was sitting on his own. Before I knew it, he was ready for "big boy" food. Before I knew it, he was clapping, talking, and crawling around, trying his hardest to keep up with his big buddy, Cael. Before I knew it, his birthday happened. And before I knew it, we were moving from Texas not even two weeks after Crew's first birthday, leaving behind his baby-hood and bringing home a toddler to introduce to all of our family and friends who had yet to met him. Texas will always make me think back to the memories of my little caboose baby.

And the big cake smash. You would think one of my boys would make it a BIG cake smash. Nope, they all preferred picking and licking and looking as cute as ever.

These two were allowed to have at it with Cael's first bday cake and asked if they could do the same with Crews. Have fun boys!
