Swimming Lessons and Swimming

(posted Jan 28, 2018)

You can not go wrong with as many swimming lessons as you can fit in. It bothered me that the boys missed lessons our first summer there but with Crew being so young, I wasn't going to haul him out in the heat and be miserable. So we fit in a session before we moved which was also Cael's first swimming lesson! He said he wanted to take lessons and was excited, but I was worried about him changing his mind and he can be very adament when he decides to be. He had a blast! He jumped right in and listed so well. Relief.

Those faces!

Of course we had lessons with #OurFavoriteSmithFamily Eden!

I signed up the boys for 9 am swimming lessons; I didn't want to melt on the side during a later time since it was so hot. We would usually go over to "our" pool afterwards and swim until lunch time. It was perfect.

one, two, three, four. I counted these boys over and over. Especially three and four.

Because of our mornings full of swimming, we would eat lunch and crash. Somehow I would fit time for a 30 minute run on the treadmill. We wore ourselves out; it is almost unheard of to find Troy taking a nap.
Then on some evenings, it wasn't uncommon to go back to the pool. They're fish I'm telling ya. Fish.
