Tony, Jessica, Eden, and Indie made our time in Texas unforgettable. We first met them when Crew was a few weeks old and we were out for a walk in our neighborhood. We knew they were awesome from the start. Sweet little Indie fell in love with Brock. She would always get so excited to see him and would always want to hold his hand. Eden is one of the most awesome little girls we know. She never treated my boys differently just because they are boys and she's a girl, she is a true friend. These girls are awesome because they have amazing parents. I'll never forget how Tony would reach over during sacrament meeting and steal Crew from me when I was at church without Jer because of his work schedule, and how Jessica would notice the tiniest amount of stress in my eyes and ask if I was ok. When I would tell her I was fine she would ask again making sure I was being truthful (Honestly I was fine, just worn down from Jeremy's night shift schedule and having a newborn). How we got so lucky meeting this family I may never know but I will always treasure their sincere friendship.
Jessica would steal these boys and take them to the quad, the pool, or her house. I've never had people help me with cleaning my house when I've moved but she insisted and helped with the last of our house cleaning so I could go to the temple. This family is one in a million. They made leaving hard. But if there's one thing I've learned the hard way, in the military, I'd rather be the family leaving than the family being left behind ;)
