sweet . little . notes

I know I mention it often on this (sadly neglected) blog, but Troy never ceases to amaze me. Especially when it comes to his devotion to his brothers.

When the boys ran in to the house to share with us their valentine loot from the day, Troy pulled out a handwritten note and read it to Cael. His teacher said they could write a note to anyone they wanted and he wanted Cael to feel included on the fun "school excitement" of sharing cards and treats.

Brock woke up with a fever on Easter weekend and had to miss a soccer game. He was pretty lethargic; the only time my big boys nap is when they're sick and for him to take long naps, two days in a row, we knew he wasn't feeling well. Troy told me that he didn't think it was fair that Brock was sick, "Brock doesn't deserve to be sick, he's such a nice person. I wish I could be sick for him". Later that day when I checked on my snoozing B.boy, I saw Troy wrote a sweet 'get well' note and included a gatorade with it for when he woke up.

This was also the same morning I was served breakfast in bed by my little ones...toast, applesauce, and orange juice.
